Directions from the North

This continues through various roundabouts for about 5 miles taking you straight into the city center. Signs for the Castle should take you onto Maid Marian Way (A6008).

Continue down hill on Maid Marian Way; at the traffic lights turn right onto Friar Lane towards the Castle. Then take the next right, Standard Hill, follow the road round to the right, it becomes Mount Street and Newland House is on your right. There are car parks both before it and after it.

Directions from the South

This continues for about 10 miles taking you straight into the city center. It ends at a T-junction with Castle Boulevard (A6005). You want to be in the left-hand lane as you join Castle Boulevard and then follow the road round to the left where it joins the bottom of Maid Marian Way.

Continue up hill on Maid Marian Way; at the traffic lights turn left onto Friar Lane towards the Castle. Then take the next right, Standard Hill, follow the road round to the right, it becomes Mount Street and Newland House is on your right. There are car parks both before it and after it.

Directions from the Station

Alternatively come out of the Station entrance and turn right going down Carrington Street. Cross Canal Street to the Broad Marsh Bus Station and continue along Carrington Street towards the Broad Marsh Shopping center. Cross at the pedestrian lights and then bear left along Collin Street and follow the road round to the right to join Maid Marian Way. Walk up Maid Marian Way and cross at the pedestrian lights to the Castle side of the road. Continue up Maid Marion Way, pass 'The Tales of Robin Hood' then turn left into Mount Street and Newland House is on the left.
