We are Strategic Systems Solutions, a global IT consultancy focused on the Financial Services sector, with offices across the UK and in the US, China, Singapore and the Philippines. We are responsible for the development, maintenance, testing and support of computer systems for the world's leading Investment Banks.
We need to grow our next generation of mainframe developers to meet our client's demands and our own business objectives.
Where and when?
Based in our Leeds office, the Advanced Apprenticeship runs for two years starting in September 2008. Training is both in-house and through the Leeds College of Technology with supporting internal projects and client assignments.
We will pay you a starting salary of GBP 10K with GBP 500 increments every six month based on performance. On completion you will receive an IT Professional NVQ with supporting IT and Financial certification.
Are you the right person?
You will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Maths and English, and be studying for, or already obtained, two 'A/S', 'A' levels or their equivalent. More importantly you will be confident, enthusiastic and hardworking.
